iProcrastinate July 30, 2007

I’m not sure whether was it because of being hooked to GE lately or whatsoever, but yes, I’m procrastinating. Everything I’m supposed to do I just assured myself with a simple excuse of – “I’ll do it later” ends up not being done. I’m practically at my wits end now.
My top 5 High end worries
- Java, another day, another F – this really calls for a big fat worry
- Procrastination
- Anti-social attitude//social issues
- Internal turmoil <<<a lot of unsaid issues
- The way I look
With this so many things going on daily (and mostly bad), it’s a miracle I can still survive. My procrastinating attitude is also one of the main reasons why I fail to update this blog too. Anyway w65n is coming to a closure, the school semester will end in August and we’ll be reshuffled to a new class again. I still don’t know everyone that well – classmates yes, but friends?
Not that appropriate I guess.
I don’t ask for much except for close friends who you can click and understand with one another very well. To tell the truth I’m really thankful to Sandra, Irene and Meiyin for tagging on my comment board. Even if you’re the only few, I’m really grateful to get by life just by reading your comments.
My head is like my real blog, everything that ends up here are usually the edited versions. So far I still see no need to use the “Password protected” entry function for this blog too, but yet I hope never too either. There you see? I ran out of stuff to write about again.

I hate updating on Mondays, I am sure to just blab about Java and that’s all – real annoying as if getting ‘F‘ every week was not enough. I’m in a worldwide state of panic too, I’m doing too bad in Java and yet I’m concentrating too much on GE. Even though my PP’s dateline is in November (and not excluding the fact I’m the first to present
), I have a lot of ideas but don’t know how to write it down. Guess I got to consult Angeline on this one, she’s pretty good at it.
The other day before, I saw an Atlas Moth on the way to school. I think I’m considered real lucky having seen it at least the third or the fourth time in my life where they are people who has never even seen it once in their entire lives before. Guess this calls a reason to be happy?

I know it’s annoying as a reader to see multiple topics squashed into one post, but that’s just me. I change my topics real fast, for a while I haven’t been listening to any nice music but now I have a couple I would like to share.
浜崎あゆみ aka Ayumi Hamasaki – glitter/fated

She has released another single yet again, also this particular single showcases her acting talent if she had any. I think she does pretty well for a first timer because she can express the emotions, the same ones she used to write the songs. The PV is done in Hong Kong and a collaboration with actor Shawn Yue (think Initial D). Lucky bastard got to kiss her at least twice, one in glitter PV and another in fated pv. The storyline is pretty simple yet emotional, check it out.
浜崎あゆみ – glitter
浜崎あゆみ – fated
Happy watching~

Friday the 13th! July 14, 2007

How was your Friday today? Today (or relatively 55 minutes ago) is supposedly the day of bad luck, yes, I mean real excruciating bad luck! Ironically, here’s my day went.
Morning
- Today’s module turned out pretty interesting and easy because it was about P2P system. After all those years with Kazaa and BitTorrent *cough*
- Bumped into Benjamin of 404, bump doesn’t mean contact. I can see him and not say anything. (he’s a friend’s friend anyway)
- I treated myself more generously during lunch today (just felt like it)
-
(Blasted quest window, can’t see the level up word!)
- My mom didn’t make it in time to make dinner, so she had to call for Pizza. LOL, doesn’t sound like bad luck I guess but I wasn’t in a Pizza mood tonight.
My only “bad luck” was probably just a mess or priorities that I have to keep making sure which are my real priorities. I can tend to make crazy mishaps if I multi-task too much. By the way, those interested in Macromedia Flash, check out this flash animation I found.
*Note – If you have never played MapleStory before, don’t watch. It’s not worth your time nor your humour. (Chances are you won’t be laughing anyway)

I was going to rant this morning on my social life and personal self-esteem, well at least until I was ushered by a couple of good news.
Good news #1
UT 2 for Database Systems is out, unexpectedly I got a B. I consider that really surprising because I hardly see “B” in almost all my module grades (maybe some but that’s rare). And considering the other people who were more hardworking than me, I’ll take Ting Ting and Liling as example (sorry guys
). Also the fact that I studied last minute that day, so like yeah…
Good news #2

Let’s take a few minutes of excitement before screaming out loud….ACCEPTED AT LAST woohoo!! I’m a chiongster when it comes to project work. I’ll definitely make sure my pp project finishes before August or September (even if the due date’s November
)
Still I think it’s a bit too much they play around with people’s feelings by approving on the last day when they have an entire fucking week to do so.
Erm, I guess that cancels out all rants for today…lol.
Live with it (not) July 2, 2007

After last week’s module selection, i take back my words. I have to live with Java like it or not. It’s gonna follow me along to next semester as well!!omfgwtf666
Today is labeled as one of the worst days ever as well – Java together with Java UT. I’m not sure which one I’m hating more, the subject or the facilitator. Doesn’t mean Java is easy to you means it’s easy for everyone. I have limited rights to complain as well because I procrastinat. You can’t blame me though, one look at Java and I immediately think:
“I’ll start to care later,“
Nowadays I don’t even bother to look at my Java daily grade, it’s a continuous “F”. The F happy facilitator slaps F in my face, yet I distinctly remember there are other factors playing a part in daily grade. Even as how bad I would probably do, I should be legally deemed an E.
My team isn’t any better as well, I’m lumped together with a bunch of people whose personalities clash with mine. Don’t get me wrong, Reen, one of the major members is very efficient in Java. But I cannot seem to communicate with her, this brings back flashbacks of the days of 405. There are some people I recall that I hardly spoke more than 10 words to, the term classmates doesn’t even seem to match. And also, some of them are like “argh” and leave by second meeting, but at least they did contribute.
Oh and tell me this, if it were you – would you prefer X (no score) or F (zero) as your daily grade for Java?
I’m always pissed off on Monday, screw Java forever.
